Ingredients:
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate – a cationic (positive charge) surfactant. SCI is great for every skin or hair type. The dry type will enjoy the gentle cleansing and the creamy after feel. SCI is very mild for skin, hair, and eyes, and is particularly tolerant to hard water.
Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate – a very mild surfactant, with good foaming and detergent properties. Sulfosuccinates are recommended for oily hair as they can remove oil and sebum gently without stripping hair too much, but all hair and skin types can use them without fear of harshness.
SLSa – an anionic (negative charge) surfactant that’s ECOcert and considered readily biodegradable and green. Offers even bigger bubbles and cleansing to the bar.
Incroquat BTMS-50 – a conditioner used in a very small quantity.
Sodium Lactate – works as both a humectant and a bar hardener.
Hydrolyzed Oat Protein – protein and film former that seals in moisture.
Rosemary and Peppermint Essential Oils – fragrance.
Panthenol – a provitamin of B5. A moisturizer and humectant that binds to the hair shaft readily, coating the hair and sealing its surface, lubricating the hair shaft and giving it a shiny appearance.
Horsetail Extract – an astringent and anti-oxidant that offers increased wound healing, improved circulation, and retention of connective tissue like collagen and elastin. The main component of horsetail extract is silica, making up 5% to 7% of the extract. This is believed to help improve nail and hair quality and help retain collagen and elastin.
Optiphen Plus – broad spectrum preservative since bar will be exposed to water. Paraben and formaldehyde-free.
